Genpak Brings the World to Peterborough

Would you like milk or cream in your coffee? Chances are that the containers that the milk or cream came in were filled by a machine built by GENPAK on Aylmer Street in Peterborough.

That little creamer cup that we so casually throw away has inputs from around the world. On our recent visit we learned that the special paper on the creamer lids comes from France and the foil portion of the creamer lids comes from South Africa. Genpak makes more than six BILLION creamer lids per year.

The GPA EDC was able to assist Genpak by providing funding through its recent manufacturers’ training initiatives.
