In my role at the Business Advisory Centre, I have the pleasure of meeting many innovative and creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. One of which is the creative and innovative founder of Cosmetic Transformations, Kyla Gutsche. What I find interesting through meeting entrepreneurs like Kyla, is Peterborough’s interdisciplinary culture. We have a College and a University dedicated to exploring the intersections of business, arts, sciences and other disciplines, and companies like Cosmetic Transformations which provide us with a practical application of these cross-sections.
To highlight the unique effect of mixing arts and science at Cosmetic Transformations, Kyla’s team specializes in cosmetic and medical micropigmentation procedures that are life enhancing and long-lasting. Cosmetic Transformations attracts A-list celebrity clients, young cancer survivors and people who have flown around the world for Kyla Gutsche’s precision, expertise, and use of medical grade pigments that are lab-studied to be non-allergenic. As a former Oxford educated scholar, University art professor, long-time volunteer and cancer survivor, Kyla has a rare background that has led her to the global forefront of this field. Kyla has been featured in the global press, won an international innovation award and improved the lives of hundreds of patients.
The GPA EDC was proud to be a part of Kyla’s decision to relocate her business from Calgary to Peterborough and the Business Advisory Centre team looks forward to recognizing and assisting our business community grow.
