DOCTOR APPRECIATION DAY ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIP

11th ANNUAL DOCTOR APPRECIATION DAY: CELEBRATING HEALTH CARE

DOCTOR APPRECIATION DAY: ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIP

(PETERBOROUGH) Greater Peterborough Area Physician Recruiter, John MacDonald, is pleased to announce a new partner and donation recipient for this year’s annual Doctor Appreciation Day to be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012. This year, in addition to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation, the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation is being promoted as a possible recipient of donations in recognition of the work and dedication of our local Physicians.

While physicians have appreciated the generosity and kindness shown over the past eleven years, this year they have requested that the community consider supporting the work of either of these two health services foundations.

The PRHC Foundation’s work continues to support the funding of needed equipment for it growing list of advanced treatment services at the hospital.

And, the Grater Peterborough Health Services Foundation supports the extension of health services and equipment found within the Family Health Teams in the Peterborough Area, where family doctors work with a variety of allied health professionals.

“Both foundations deserve serious consideration”, said MacDonald “and rather than sending or taking a gift to your physician, sending a card indicating you have made a donation celebrating his/her efforts will be most appropriate.”

As usual, a public expression for medical staff will take place at the Peterborough Pete’s game on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Donations can be made to:
