Business Opportunities with Pan/ParaPan AM – Toronto 2015
Canada is investing $1.4 billion dollars into hosting the largest multi-sport event in Canadian history in the Greater Toronto Area in 2015. This includes 41 Pan-American countries, 10,000 athletes and coaches, 51 sports and 40+ venues.
At a conference I attended this week, a representative from the organizing team TO2015 encouraged us to make entrepreneurs aware of the opportunities that exist for businesses to get involved in the procurement process and benefit from this investment. There are a host of opportunities across many sectors that are reflected in Peterborough’s economy including service, hospitality and food, construction, telecommunications, software development and more.
TO2015 has created its own supplier database where a business of any size can sign up to be considered as a supplier for purchases up to $10,000.
