Young Entrepreneurs Participate in a Day of Learning & Networking

The annual Summer Company Training Day brought together 50 young entrepreneurs from Cobourg, Belleville, Durham, Kawartha Lakes, and the Peterborough region. Young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to network and learn from successful Summer Company alumni who shared their experiences and offered advice. The day’s events included roundtable discussions as well as presentations on bookkeeping and business etiquette. The day of business training, networking, and fun helped students to gain valuable business skills and connections to contribute to the success of their summer businesses.

Participants enjoyed the peer-to-peer network and learning opportunity across five regions.  Many said the key ideas they would implement were record keeping, organization tips, business etiquette and new marketing ideas.

We are looking forward to the future success of all Summer Company students this summer!
