The Industrial Transition and Investment (ITI) project is a significant economic development initiative of the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation (GPA EDC) and the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster (GPIC).
Funded in conjunction with the Federal Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), the objective of the ITI Project is to support the expansion of the Nuclear, Wind, Solar and Water Treatment Industries in the Greater Peterborough Area (GPA). Specifically it will present industry opportunities to GPA Industrial Small Medium Enterprises (SME), and enable business development activities for the GPA in these sectors.

- Peterborough Region Industrial Capabilities: A map of GPA industrial capabilities within each focus industry supply chain that identifies the gaps and clusters around critical industry-relevant capabilities.
- Culminating Event to review and discuss project findings with Peterborough Region Small Medium Enterprises (SME), and Facilitation of a process for GPA industries to investigate and pursue opportunities: March 25, 2010. View the presentation
- External Business Attraction Campaign to support the creation of multi-media marketing materials to market the GPA to key players in the identified sectors and Industry Associations. (See Video)
